  • Adhesives and sealants—Increases mechanical properties, such as tensile strength, elongation at break, and tear resistance, and helps control the influence of temperature on mechanical properties

What are its benefits?

  • Free flow and storage—Greatly improves the free flow and storage stability of powdered substances that have a tendency to cake
  • High temperature insulation—Very low solid state conductivity for outstanding thermal insulation properties
  • Electrostatic charge effect—Reduces the tendency of plastic powders to acquire a negative electrostatic charge, eliminating undesirable characteristics
  • Hydrophobicity control/water resistance—Repels water to eliminate dilution in water based applications
  • Thickening—Elevates the hydrophobicity of water-sensitive lithographic ink systems and thickens oils to resist to water and elevated temperatures
  • Anti-sag—Significantly increases thixotropy for improved flow during application and reduced flow upon completion
