Process Engineer (Co-Op) | Burlington | (1st Shift)

Major Function:
Accomplishing business objectives, supervising and maintaining efficient operations, and completing new development and existing expansion projects. Also serving as a direct back-up to the Chief Engineer, helping to oversee personnel and operations.
Major Duties:
- Process Engineering: Act as a process engineer for all of AMS.
- Equipment design and builds: Audit equipment purchasing, specification, and choosing contractor services.
- Field Tech support: As required you may have to travel to inspect and observe equipment and operations in support of development projects.
- Increases production staff effectiveness by orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining production employees; communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Seeks opportunity to improve efficiency and reduce costs during manufacture of product through engineered controls and equipment implementation.
- Ensures contractors follow company GMP policies when on site.
- Enforce all safety policies and report any safety incidents or potential hazards that need to be addressed by management or maintenance.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to provide support to production and warehouse teams as needed.

Production Operator | Elkhorn | (1) Split Shift (10 AM – 6:30 PM)

Major Function:
Manufacture and package chemical products according to instructions and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Major Duties:
- Set up, operate, and monitor equipment used for producing and packaging products.
- Measure, weigh, mix, and process chemical ingredients following established procedures to create finished products.
- Monitor batches for quality and food safety parameters, including Critical Control Points and Control Points.
- Record production, sanitation and test data accurately and legibly.
- Draw samples of products for quality tests.
- Fill containers with chemical products for sale or internal use.
- Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas according to company procedures.
- Promptly report all food safety, physical safety, and product quality issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
- Participate in cycle counts on a batch-by-batch basis.
- Loading and unloading trucks per our shipping and receiving policy.
- Loading and unloading bulk tankers per our shipping and receiving policy.
- Building cleanliness inside and outside.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds repetitively.
- Must be able to stand, bend, and reach for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders repetitively.
- Must be able to wear required Personal Protection Equipment for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to safely and effectively operate production-related machinery including, but not limited to: forklifts, agitators, homogenizers, and drum tippers.
- Must be able to perform visual and olfactory observations.
