Process Engineer (Co-Op) | Burlington | (1st Shift)

TITLE:Process Engineer I

Major Function:

Accomplishing business objectives, supervising and maintaining efficient operations, and completing new development and existing expansion projects. Also serving as a direct back-up to the Chief Engineer, helping to oversee personnel and operations.

Production Operator | Elkhorn | (1) Split Shift (10 AM – 6:30 PM)

Major Function:

Manufacture and package chemical products according to instructions and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Major Duties:

  1. Set up, operate, and monitor equipment used for producing and packaging products.
  2. Measure, weigh, mix, and process chemical ingredients following established procedures to create finished products.
  3. Monitor batches for quality and food safety parameters, including Critical Control Points and Control Points.
  4. Record production, sanitation and test data accurately and legibly.
  5. Draw samples of products for quality tests.
  6. Fill containers with chemical products for sale or internal use.
  7. Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas according to company procedures.
  8. Promptly report all food safety, physical safety, and product quality issues.
  9. Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
  10. Participate in cycle counts on a batch-by-batch basis.
  11. Loading and unloading trucks per our shipping and receiving policy.

Quality Control Technician & Document Control Specialist | Elkhorn & Burlington | (1) Split Shift (12 PM – 8:30 PM)

TITLE:Quality Control Technician & Document Control Specialist

Major Function:

Quality Control Technician’s main responsibilities are to provide direct verification of plant conformance to quality and regulatory standards, to provide support and guidance (written or verbal) to management, staff, and customers, and to provide training to staff as needed. Additionally, to manage and oversee documents for the company’s ISO 9001 and FSSC programs.

Major Duties:

  1. Perform batch validation testing, corrections, and documentation (COA, etc.).
  2. Maintain quality retains and records following AMS retention policies or practices.
  3. Coordinate sampling and testing with outside laboratories (as needed).
  4. Conduct Environmental Monitoring according to policy, coordinates and ship samples and maintain records.
  5. Maintain quality/lab equipment calibrations and documentation of same.
  6. General upkeep and supply of the assigned lab and work area (cleanliness, inventory of materials needed, resupply materials as necessary, etc.).
  7. Support ERP efforts for QC functions.
  8. Act as a primary backup/support for Quality Supervisor.
  9. Assist with internal housekeeping audits.
  10. Support sample request fulfillments.
  11. Manage and maintain all controlled company documents.
  12. Update and control procedure documents and forms.
  13. Create and manage document hierarchy and process systems.
  14. Assist and train employees in the use of controlled documents.
  15. Ensure all documents meet set standards in terms of quality and compliance.
  16. Coordinate all activities related to the document control procedure, including the distribution of documents and ensuring access.
  17. Input document data into the standard registers ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date.
  18. Implement and maintain document control processes and procedures.
  19. Develop and maintain the comprehensive filing system and computer database for all documents to be retained in the document control center.
  20. Manage the flow of documentation within the organization.
  21. Maintain confidentiality around sensitive documentation.
  22. Prepare reports and audits to help identify document inconsistencies.
  23. Ensure all documents are up-to-date and accurately reflect current policies and procedures.
  24. Other similar tasks as assigned by management in support of company objectives.

Financial Services Coordinator | Elkhorn | (1st Shift)

TITLE:Financial Services Coordinator
DEPARTMENT:Finance Department FLSA:Non-Exempt

Major Function:

Aid with performing basic accounting functions which include Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

Major Duties:

  1. Administer the Chempax A/P functions. Vouching and researching incoming vendor invoices and matching with receiving documents. Communicates with personnel to reconcile expense reports and matching receipts as well as commissions for outside salesman. Inventory purchases and pricing are matched to vendor invoices and discrepancies reconciled with inventory control.
  2. Administer the Chempax A/R functions. Invoicing customers while utilizing correct pricing and locating cost discrepancies. Verify correct salesperson associated with each customer; calculate commissions for payroll employees (before 2nd payroll) and independent sales reps (before month-end). Update customer contact files as needed. Process CC payments and post checks, wires, ACH payments; reconcile daily. Collection calls/emails weekly re: past-due accounts. Process freight and storage billings. Ensure activity is correctly classified between locations.
  3. Maintains accessible files for historical records.
  4. Responsible for running specific reports for company-wide reporting from other departments.
  5. Runs month-end reports to close each Dacator accounting module.
  6. Backup for answering main phone line
